New Ebay Store

Yes, as I've told most of you via my newsletter, I've been planning this new eBay store layout for awhile and it's finally done! Go see it for yourself. It's a much more streamlined design and I love it!
You see so many huge, gaudy layouts from some of these designers, I wanted mine to be simple and easy to view.
Like a few of you have noted, I wonder, as well, how long it will take "the crazy one" to copy my layout.....hilarious!

Spring Cleaning, Anyone???

Oh yeah, did I mention I still need to do my spring cleaning?? Time management is the key…..ugh!
I have 27 windows in my house that need to be cleaned….27 WINDOWS!!
Plus, all the wood floors, I need to repaint the living room, we definitely need to clean up the attic and have a tag sale!!

Just wanted to reiterate that I still have not done my SPRING CLEANING…Help!!

Need more caffeine....yawn!

The coffee is just not doing it for me this morning. I need a caffeine injection or something...lol! I feel like I've only been up for a few minutes, not a few hours!
Need to get working......I just finished packing some items I need to ship out. These are for customers of my other ebay store....actual products, not graphics and templates, lol. I really need to get that store up to par...I haven't completely stocked it up since I opened it. I have a so many products I need to list, it's not even funny! I sort of let that store go once I started the designing business, but I have a literal warehouse with all of these brand new products that are just sitting there. One of these days, I need to go through everything and take new pics and start listing everything into my other store. Time, I need more time in a day...lol!
Plus, I've got my new T-shirt designing thing going on.....that has done really well and I'll be posting some of the designs on here shortly.
I've been trying to get my parents to start selling on ebay....they would be so good at it! They've finally opened an account and I sent them a digital camera to use, so we'll see :)

Happy Monday.....

Yes, I know it's been a few days since posting and I promised I would post something everyday. I was depressed after the game last Tuesday and then this weekend we were slaughtered by Chelsea...at home. It was embarassing and I didn't feel much like writing anything.
Plus, I have so many orders that I'm working on right now, I didn't have a minutes break....and my daughter is sick.
These are not excuses, just facts :)

Anyhow, I'm posting now....I have a little break between orders and I thought I'd get a quickie in.
Not a whole lot of new stuff going on...I have some new designs in my ebay store, some of them on sale right now....check them out!

My lilacs are blooming and they look so gorgeous! I'll take some pics and post them....

Umm, let's see...oh, I finished my book, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It was very good...can't wait for the 2nd book to be released.

The book I read before The Hunger Games was A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb, which I also enjoyed thoroughly.

I just received one of my book orders today, just in time, so I'll post what I'm going to read next.
Of course, it's almost time to reread, for the 3rd time, the Twilight books. I might wait until right before the New Moon movie comes out to do that though.

Ok, I have to go and work on more orders. I'll make sure I post something in the morning....promise!

Arsenal 1 - Manure 3...

I'm completely gutted and feel for Keiran Gibbs. One slip and that's all it takes. Have I mentioned how much I hate Manchester United??? I do....all they care about is money. And Ronaldo, what a diving prima donna......

Oh well, it's over and we'll just look forward to the next game and next seaon......I do feel as if I've been run over by a truck....a big, ugly, red truck with waxed eyebrows....

Soooo Nervous!!

I'm so nervous about the game today, AGGHH!! I'm nervous, excited, I don't even know. It's going to be something else, that's for sure.

I have a ton of new orders and I've already finished several this morning. I got up extra early so I could finish some of these because I will be MIA between 2 and 5 pm today. My eyes will be glued to the TV, I'll be biting my fingernails and crossing my fingers.

Anyway, just wanted to get a post in, because I said I would :)

I'm off to work on more orders before the game.....I see that the crazy looky-loo has been checking out my store again and admiring my changes...lol. It never fails to crack me up!!!

Cheers all.....fingers crossed for my Gunners today. Come on you Reds!!!!

A Very Special Sale!!

Well, I'm doing it again...you'd think I'd have learned from the last time I had my "special" sale. But, alas, I did not!

So, if you weren't around for my last special sale, you'll get a chance to take part this time. Here's the gist of it: I am a huge Arsenal FC fan. For those of you who don't know this about me, now you do! For those of you who don't know what the heck Arsenal FC is, let me tell you :) Arsenal is a football (soccer for my American customers) club from North London that has been around since 1886. They play the most beautiful football, they are a complete joy to watch on their day and tomorrow, my beloved Arsenal will be taking part in THE MOST important game of their season. The second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester United (yuck!). If they go through, they will play either Barcelona or Chelsea in the final in Rome!!
We'll be at home, big plus, and Man Utd only scored one goal in the first leg (it could've been 4 or 5!). So, it can be done, I have faith in the boys and the manager. I'm also sick to my stomach just thinking about it and I won't get any sleep tonight because of the game.

Anyhow, here's the details of the special sale:
If Arsenal win and go through to the final (OMG!), then I will have a one-day sale on Wednesday, May 6th, in my Ebay Store and my Website.
The sale will start out at 50% off all fixed priced auction templates, but, and here's the very special part, I will add another 5% off for every goal Arsenal scores in the game. Including penalty kicks, if it goes down to that.

If anyone wants to watch the game here in the U.S., it'll be broadcast on ESPN2 tomorrow, Tuesday 5th of May, with coverage starting at 2:00 pm Eastern Time. Even if you've never watched a game of football (soccer) in your life, you will enjoy this game, trust me! These teams are old rivals and it's sure to heat up! Plus, there will be some of the best football players in the world on display.
Please keep your fingers crossed for me...unless you're a Man Utd or Tottenham supporter!

Why do Mondays always feel like this??

It's strange that Mondays always have that "feeling". I don't even have to leave my house to go to work, yet they still have the same feeling as when I used to leave the house to go to work.

I have a few new orders this morning, but I must work on some existing orders today and get them done. I'm working on a blog layout for a super sweet customer of mine who is writing a children's book and wants her blog to have the look of her book. How fun, right? I'm hoping I can make it exactly what she wants. The design concept is very fresh and fun, can't wait to get it finished for her.

Another order I've been working on is a website for a wonderful lady out in Oregon. She has the most scrumptious brick & mortar chocolate shop......what a dream!! I've seen pics of her shop and it's truly adorable!! We're going for a website that matches her actual shop and so far it's turning out really great! I'll post pics of it when I'm finished with it :)

You know, I really have the BEST customers ever! With the exception of a couple grouches here and there, all of my customers are just superb....and I truly mean it. Being a seller on Ebay for awhile now, selling to buyers and now fellow sellers, I have to say, I've probably seen it all in terms of customer types! LOL. But, since I've started my design business a couple of years ago, I've just been blessed with awesome customers!! I've gotten to know so many of them, too.

Ok, I'm off to start some work but I'll post more later today.

It's been awhile!

Hi all....I know, I know, it's been forever since I've posted!! I always wake up thinking "I'm going to post something today"....but then, after I've gone through my emails while drinking my coffee, I realize I need to answer TONS of questions! Then, I have to go through orders and decide where I'm going to start work for the day. After I've worked on a few orders and some upkeep on the old ebay store, it's time to pick my daughter up from school.....I know, time management has never been my thing!
By the time I get back from the high school, I'm figuring out what to make for dinner and then I work on more orders.
Oh, did I mention how many times I have to take the dog out? Well, it's like everytime I sit down....lol.
Then, before you know it, I'm off to bed and I haven't posted anything.
I know it's a lousy excuse, but it's the truth...I swear!!
I'm going to make an honest effort to post something every morning....it may not be something of great signifigance, but it'll be something.
